Abstract

This research, situated in the field of the "Agrarian Question," aims to investigate the socioeconomic determinants associated with agricultural productivity in Mozambique, contributing to a critical understanding of the impact of this productivity on the country's economic growth. Utilizing a methodology of bibliographic and documentary analysis based on the method of historical materialism, the research examines the socioeconomic determinants associated with agricultural productivity. The research results reveal that the agrarian sector in Mozambique is characterized by limited use of extension services, restricted access to market price information, and limited access to financial services. This lack of essential investments restricts the productive potential of the agrarian sector, limiting opportunities for growth and economic development.
