Abstract

The project ‘Link Me Up - 1000 ideas, Support System for the co-creation of innovation, creativity and entrepreneurship’, implemented between 2021 and 2023 by a consortium of 13 Portuguese polytechnics, whose main objective was to ‘strengthen cooperation between Portuguese Polytechnic Institutes, as agents for the promotion of qualified entrepreneurship, co-creation with the business environment, involving teachers, students and companies/organizations, for the generation of innovative ideas and the creation of new companies. ‘, was awarded the Portuguese prize at the European Enterprise Promotion Awards in the “promotion of the spirit of entrepreneurship” category. From the conclusions based on the key performance indicators presented in ‘Link Me Up. Global Results", we intend to work on and demystify the interpretation of some divergences from the results, namely in two important result indicators (R40 and R34) and one realization identifier (R35), which are directly associated with the number of companies created, the percentage of young people who consider themselves better able to create their own job/company and the number of young people/entrepreneurs who intend to create their own job and consider themselves better prepared and better able in the context of the project's themes. We analysed the values obtained in these three result/realisation indicators (R40, R34 and R35) from the perspective of the young people/entrepreneurs who took part in the Link Me Up - 1000 ideas project, in the area of co-creation of innovation, using an understanding of the process and methodology, as well as analysing practical examples of their application and the work produced by the project teams. From the interpretation, analysis and discussion, we will produce the results, conclusions and draw up a set of suggestions for future editions that follow the guidelines of the co-creation of innovation axis.
