Abstract

Curriculum and teaching practice have an important relationship in the context of education, particularly in the context of Didactics. However, no bibliometric review on such a link has been published so far. Therefore, the objective was to analyze in a bibliometric way the relationship between curriculum and teaching practice, according to the literature published until July 2024. The bibliometric analysis chose articles extracted from the Scopus database. Regarding the results, 11 highly relevant scientific articles were selected, relating to the approach between curriculum and teaching practice, which were analyzed using different bibliometric indicators. This study provides useful information on the current status of literature on curriculum and teaching practice, offering information for academics, educators and decision-makers in the educational and didactics areas. The results have consequences for educational policy makers, allowing a better understanding of current research and proposing prospective topics for future studies on the topic.
