Modeling Processes of Payment of Fees in an IES in Angola: Case of the Polytechnic Institute of Kimpa Vita University-Uíge

This work aims to disseminate, by a modeling language understandable to all interested, the routine processes concerning the payment of fees by Higher Education students in Angola, in the case of the Polytechnic Institute. The Polytechnic Institute of KimpaVita University, IP-UNIKIVI, a public institution with legal personality and classified as a public higher education institution, has the mission to train higher education professionals in various areas of knowledge, research and provide services to the community. In this work, it is to present to the actors of the Higher Education system a standard of procedures of the different payments made each academic year by their partners, know the students. To end the illiteracy found in students and staff of academic and financial areas, was modeled, using the UML, the processes related to payment at different times experienced by students: enrollment and evaluation. In the current context, we present in general the models of generic cases; the particularities do not cover this study. In order to monitor the revenues or own resources of the HEIs, the Angolan Executive implemented a payment system in the State account based on RUPE (Single Reference of Payment to the State), a key document to trigger the payment, through a portal of the Ministry of Finance. Students, when enrolling for an academic year or when registering for an examination of the time of appeal or recovery or special, must fulfill their duties with the academic and financial areas of the HEI they attend to be evaluated.
