Impact of Psychopedagogical Training on Emotional Intelligence: Comparative Analysis of Academic Performance 2024-2025

This study analyzed the impact of psychopedagogical training, focused on the development of emotional intelligence, on the teaching practices of lecturers at the Instituto Superior de Comunicação e Imagem de Mozambique and its relationship with student academic performance. A mixed-methods approach was employed, combining a comparative analysis of academic results with semi-structured interviews. Findings indicate that, even when quantitative results remained stable, significant changes occurred in the lecturers’ pedagogical practices, emotional competencies, and attitudes, highlighting the importance of emotionally aware educators in promoting meaningful learning.
