Abstract

The education process involves many aspects that can serve as an obstacle to students' learning. The choice of this theme is due to the fact that “motivation” is an integral factor in student learning, especially in the first class where they become familiar with school for the first time and should, naturally, have it as a priority premise. of learning new challenges, gaining necessary skills in the given class, starting from the base that is the class in reference. If the student is given more attention and motivated, they will undoubtedly be prepared to interact and be active throughout the class, improving their level of commitment and learning.

Motivation characterizes an individual's behavior, manifesting itself in different ways within the society in which it lives. To tackle this work, we set out as objectives to understand the influence of motivation in the teaching and learning process, observe in practice the factors that cause demotivation in students, identify the factors involved in motivation, propose practical activities to improve classroom performance. classroom. Motivation can also be understood in two characters, namely: introverted or extroverted, where the extroverted character is considered as the one that allows the student to enter a certain environment, during their growth.

It is true that motivation can be acquired during a student’s schooling. The school in this case functions as a place where the child acquires different skills related to their future and has an invaluable role in shaping them into someone else. Therefore, it is a call to attention for all stakeholders deemed capable of guaranteeing the noble task of shaping, without sidelining the teacher himself.

This theme also draws attention in order to take into account the child's developmental stages, understanding the essence of life crises that occur at different stages and that could compromise the student's future. The fact that he appears unmotivated opens up the possibility for the teacher to work very hard with a view to reversing the situation and when the student is motivated in the classroom, he will undoubtedly be able to take the teaching-learning process seriously.

A properly motivated student will be prepared to be more participative in the classroom when the teacher is teaching.
