Abstract

The purpose of the article is to analyse the degree of application of knowledge management in electricity of Mozambique in the Maputo City. Therefore, it will focus on the determinant factors such as the identification, the capture, the selection, the validation, the organisation, the storage, the sharing, the creation and the application in this company. So that a company that is based on knowledge management can be in a position of competitive advantage in relation to companies that do not apply this yet, preferring the application of other forms of managing their companies. The management of knowledge give priority to a system of shared knowledge, in which collaborators, technologies and processes are harmonized in a way to converge in the dissemination of the use of knowledge by all internally and externally to their work sectors, even externally to these sectors and the respective companies. The way to materialise the research project is by conducting research of an analytical empirical nature with a quantitative approach to the data already existing in the company's manuals and reports as well as in the survey of the primary data of the case study. The data that it will collect in the various departments of the company in Maputo through the application of an electronic questionnaire and an interview with the workers. These data will provide the statistical analyses in order to reach the conclusion of the analysis of the degree of knowledge management in relation to that recommended by the standardised norms of various day-to-day activities by the workers.
