The Single Party Regime in Mozambique

The one-party model was adopted by political leaders of several nations after their independence, under the justification of forming robust and cohesive nations that would prevent ethical conflicts that would cause political divisions and, consequently, territorial administrative divisions. The disintegration of the imperial capitalist system and the adoption of the political management model of the countries that collaborated in the fight against the invaders were prerequisites for the implementation of that political government regime. The one-party political system has been adopted by several countries, including Asian and African ones. Mozambique was one of the countries that adhered to the one-party system after independence, making it necessary to understand the principles that led to the implementation of the one-party system after independence. To achieve this objective, the bibliographical review on the subject was essential.
